Spinning Disc Entertainment is run by the talented and experienced DJ Dan, who works closely with you in the lead up to your wedding to design the perfect atmosphere, from the bridal party entrance through to the dancefloor.

Last minute we ended up organising an MC for our special day. Lucky Charlie was available and he was absolutely amazing!He was confident and everyone loved his sense of humour. If you’re looking for an MC, Charlie is your guy!!! Our guests just loved him, and he checked in with us during the night, which was great.Dan was also amazing being the first point of contact to arrange our meeting. We had DJ Dan as DJ/MC and had Max on Sax play during our dance floor. Dan was absolutely amazing and so easy to work with! Very organised and gave us heaps of great ideas to incorporate different aspects such as light sticks, sax etc.The dance floor was not empty once all night and our guests all had the best time and said the music was amazing!Max was a last minute addition for us but our guests loved it and couldn’t stop raving about how incredible it was!Thank you Dan and Max for being superstars on the night and thank you Dan for all your help in the lead up! WOW!!! Where do I even begin!!!We started the process by speaking with Dan via zoom on multiple occasions leading up to our wedding day! Dan was super helpful and professional and provided amazing support and suggestions over this time. Thank you Dan!!On our wedding day we had Kerry as our DJ/MC and my god did he do a good job!!! We have had multiple guests say how amazing he was! The dance floor did not stop all night and he was a true professional! Amazing MC also his introductions were phenomenal!!Highly recommend!!!

DJ Dan recently performed at our wedding.To say he was brilliant is an understatement.Dan kept the party going all night long. He personalised the music choices for us so the evening was so very much Nathan and I.He was genuinely happy to be there and work with the entire event crew.Not only is Dan a spectacular DJ. As an added bonus he’s got some very valuable insights in wedding planning which helped us figure out what reception timeline we needed.Honestly Dan, Nathan and I cannot thank you enough for helping to make our day special, and memorable.Do yourself and favour and “do the disc” because this man and his crew are absolutely “the tits”!

If you need a DJ/MC at your event look no further than Dan and his team at Spinning Disc Entertainment.From the first meeting I knew that we were in good hands. We went through all the running sheet with us, and he offered suggestions for wedding games/activities that everyone on the night loved! As MC he made everything run so smoothly, I honestly didn’t have any concerns the whole night. He made sure everyone was up on the dance floor having an amazing time.Everyone has been going on about how amazing Max on Sax was and how it truly made it such a cool night. I could not recommend him more, he made it into such an entertaining night. The number of guests that have contacted me after the wedding to say what a great night it was and the most fun they have had at a wedding is truly because of Dan and his team. We did a signature wedding package and I could not recommend it more. Dan coordinates and organizes everything, and it truly takes the stress out of so many moving parts. Dan was not only a legend, but also a fantastic MC/DJ. He played the best music and knew how to get and keep a crowd hyped. His recommendations were spot on and he also provided us with some fantastic ideas in our pre planning sessions. At first we were skeptical on choosing a DJ for our wedding but when we spoke to Dan over Zoom we knew straight away it was the right choice. As soon as we spoke with Dan he put us at ease with his professionalism and his knowledge and experience with weddings. He listened to what music we wanted for our day and offered suggestions for entrance songs, first dance music and how to get all family members and friends on the dancefloor. We appreciate Dan’s organisational skills and his ability to make us feel at ease. Look no further for a wedding DJ!!! We hired Spinning Disc for our wedding and everything was just incredible!We were lucky enough to have DJ Karl be our DJ & MC and he was genuinely the best and we could not have been happier! He knew exactly how to get people up onto the dance floor and made the whole night an absolute blast. As an MC as well he was fantastic and kept the whole night on track. It’s very easy to lose track of what’s happening and the timings of everything when it’s your wedding but Karl was so so good at making sure everything ran according to plan!! In our pre-meetings we had, we explained what we wanted the vibe to be, song requests and he definitely knew exactly what to do with the info we gave him. Karl knows his audience and is able to take what we wanted and put on an incredible night with it!Dealing with Spinning Disc from the beginning was so good and makes planning a wedding so much easier! We had pre-meetings with Dan and he was able to guide us through offer great suggestions that hadn’t even crossed our minds. He is clearly very experienced and knows exactly what to do. We were delighted with the service DJ Dan provided for our wedding reception. Our meetings and planning with Dan prior helped our wedding night run very smoothly and how we wanted it to be. He was always punctual and organised. He ran the night as MC exactly as planned, and also added great character throughout. He had great suggestions for wedding games and the structure of the run sheet, which was very helpful. He played all of our song choices and made an excellent playlist based on our discussions with him regarding our music taste. Jay did amazing, Jay made a memorable performance at our ceremony and reception. We used spinning disc for our wedding and we couldn’t recommend them more. We had DJ Karl as our MC and DJ and he was so brilliant and really friendly and easy going, the dance floor was non stop for 2 hours. Dan was an AMAZING DJ and MC! If you are looking for a DJ/MC then please look no further than Dan and Spinning Disc Entertainment! From the start Dan was so easy to talk to and get in touch with and made great suggestions during our meetings leading up to the wedding. On the wedding day the dance floor was ALWAYS full with our guests as he knew exactly what to play to keep everyone on there. Dan was also an excellent MC, he worked so well with our venue and other vendors and kept the night running smoothly and on time. The ‘who knows the bride and groom best’ game had all our guests laughing and was a great opener to our reception. The conga line he got going was also great fun ! Our friends all loved him and so did we! Can not recommend him enough!

Amongst the stress of wedding planning, we fondly remember our first meeting with DJ Dan being the first time we felt confident that our wedding would be a blast – and a blast it was. DJ Dan provided music (and the vibes) from pre-ceremony to our final goodbye circle, and was the best MC we could have asked for. DJ Dan took the time to get to know us and what we wanted for our wedding and exceeded all expectations. DJ Dan provided us with ideas on how to make the night a memorable one, which it was. We had so much fun and knew everything would run smoothly with DJ Dan. Spinning Disc also provided the Party Pix Photobooth for our wedding, operated by the wonderful Magenta. Our guests had so much fun with the props and loved being able to take home a photostrip (or 2 or 10) as a memory of the night. DJ Dan and Acoustic Artist Jay Santilli provided the entertainment for our wedding, DJ Dan providing MC and DJ services and Jay Santilli providing the ceremony music and playing during canapés.Jay did an incredible job setting the tone for the ceremony and easing into the evening with her sweet serenades. She is an absolute professional and knows what she’s doing. I was so stressed that my aisle song was too short and I was going to be walking down the aisle to no music, but Jay was able to play the intro until I was ready to walk down, she did an incredible job and made the entire ceremony perfect, and created an incredible ambience for the ceremony and canapés.DJ Dan was incredibly professional and helpful throughout the whole process. He was able to meet with us multiple times over Zoom in the lead up to the day, and provide us with suggestions and tips along the way, like games we could play to interact with our guests (that everyone was raving about the next day), and how to break up the speeches to make the reception go smoothly. Dan was able to perfectly mix the songs and include all our favourites, expertly increasing the vibes and the energy throughout the night, so our dance floor was entirely filled from the minute it opened til the minute it closed. Dan was able to ad lib jokes and keep our guests entertained whilst also simultaneously keeping things on track for time. Definitely worth the money to pay a professional to MC your wedding. Dan was also able to problem solve and think on his feet, I really felt like I could rely on him to make the reception run smoothly and ensure all our guests had a good time, and as a stressed out bride I will be forever grateful for his patience, kindness and efficiency throughout the whole process. He was so approachable and easy to reach, he reassuring us and answering all our questions, emails and phone calls in the lead up to the day.Could not recommend Spinning Disc and DJ Dan and Jay Santilli higher!!

Dan was absolutely spectacular in every way from our first meeting. One of the things that stood out for us was he was very quick to respond to any emails and especially the week leading up to the wedding, having someone respond to any of our queries or small changes made us feel at ease. Dan also has a friendly and funny personality which made him the perfect fit for being our MC. He made sure everything was running on time and even asked us on the night if we wanted to delay the first dance as we were busy chatting away to our friends and family. As for the DJ side of things he played all the songs we wanted and even played the Collingwood theme song when they won the prelim finals. He has a good gauge on what songs everyone was liking on the night and kept the dance floor alive. Even having party lights on the dance floor and checking in on us throughout the night was such a thoughtful touch. We both were so grateful in our choice for choosing Dan and couldn’t recommend him enough for your special day.

Highly professional yet easy going. We engaged Dan to be our emcee and DJ and it was a great decision. Meetings are easy to set up via online booking—no going back and forth in an email to set a date and time. During the meeting, Dan will guide you along the way and he solved a lot of our headaches by giving us his advices based on his years of experience. We find that we don’t have to stress and find a solution ourselves, we just have to answer yes/no to his suggested solutions, which is such a relief in the midst of planning a wedding. We find our meetings with him are short and sweet, yet highly productive. As for the night itself, he gave us and our guests lots of laughter, eased the atmosphere and we had our guests telling us how great he is. He also goes above and beyond in his services and I would strongly recommend him if you are down to have a fun vibe in your wedding!

Best DJ everrrr! Highly recommend hiring DJ Dan for your weddings and any other events!From the beginning he was easy to contact, quickly replied to emails, and helped us create the best dance floor a wedding couple could want.We had a different taste of music that DJ Dan definitely catered to! We had the pleasure of DJ Dan facilitating our wedding reception and wow was it a memorable night. Prior to the event, Dan was very communicative, professional and courteous. He made all the woes and stress for the pre-wedding arrangements so simple – he responded and replied to my emails in quick fashion and his own suggestions for the big day really helped us piece it all together.In addition, he was fantastic in coordinating the run-sheet and agenda of the night with the external MC and everything just went so smoothly. As far as music goes, I was recommended DJ Dan through a mutual friend and Dan was so accommodating to our music preferences – the seamless mixing and transitions between our favourite tracks was on point and everyone was enjoying and dancing on the floor. He adjusted to exactly how the audience was feeling and partying and I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. Planning a wedding or a function Dan and his team has you covered for music and entertainment. I spoke to a few different entertainment companies before coming across Spinning Disc Entertainment and from the first discussion with Dan over the phone it was clear that we are in very capable hands. Dan sets up and initial skype meeting and from there he asks you a few questions about the kind of atmosphere you want at your function and then also put forward some suggestions of things we did not even consider. Dan takes in consideration what you want and not what he feels a wedding should be like which I loved. He takes on your vision and puts it in reality. After your first meeting, once you feel comfortable you pay your deposit. There is a further couple of quick skype meetings before your event (all booked online by yourself in his calendar) so you can select a date and time that suits you. We wanted an informal wedding with a bit of MC but a roaring dance floor, which is what we got! Everything ran on time and DJ David came out before our entrance to the venue for a quick meet and from there everything flowed very nicely for the duration of the night. We also wanted the photo booth for 5 hours which was a massive hit with out guest. Magenta looked after the photo booth for us and she also made sure she came to introduce herself to me quickly as the night started which was super lovely. The team have the ability to read the room to know when convenient time is to have these quick introductions, which I also appreciated and noted. Noting felt invasive of the night. Something to also keep in mind is the response times, with Dan when we had a question outside of our scheduled meeting times was fantastic in his response times. You did not feel like just a number but it felt like your wedding/function mattered which was very re-assuring.A BIG thank you Dan, DJ David and Magenta!

My wife and I recently booked Dan for our reception and he made our special day absolutely perfect. Dan met with us a couple of times to make sure that our (very specific) music tastes were met on the night. Given the broad diversity of our tastes this was no mean feat! Dan made everything perfectly simple and took on board all of our feedback.Dan followed our brief down to a tee on the night, blending the night’s music between our requests, our’s and our guest’s tastes, and feeling out the vibe of the room. But also included some of his own creativity in there (which was much appreciated). DJ Dan was extremely easy to work with and also the most organised of any of our wedding suppliers/vendors.He guided us through the whole process and used his experience to help us plan how the wedding would run music wise and also timeline wise. I was recommended Dan and the team at Spinning Disc Entertainment by a friend after they had attended a wedding Dan had provided the entertainment to and I was told he was the best DJ she had ever encountered, his song choices and ability to read the crowd was unrivaled and on that recommendation I booked Dan! From the very beginning, Dan has been so incredibly thorough, professional and experienced. Through Dan I also booked an acoustic performer for our ceremony and a saxophonist for our reception, the latter who literally made a guest fall off her seat out of excitement when he jumped out from behind the DJ booth and joined our first dance!! Both Jay and Max brought so much to our event, Jay’s voice and song choices were terrific while Max really brought the party performing amongst the guests on sax which was really raised the excitement and atmosphere!In our meetings we had come up with songs we definitely wanted played at the wedding and ones to avoid and Dan did a great job at introducing less common reception dance songs (my husband and his friends are avid country music fans) in a way that was still attainable for our other guests and the boys were absolutely delighted!Dan was also so helpful in assisting our friends who had never MC’d a wedding before, he was extremely clear, thorough and kept all the events moving along and to schedule.Dan, Jay and Max did a phenomenal job at the wedding, I could not have been more thrilled with their whole service from start to finish, thank you Dan and your team for bringing the absolute bangers on our best day ever!!

Dan was a fantastic wedding DJ. He did a great job guiding us on what points of the reception we would need to choose songs for, and also had great suggestions on the styles of songs that would work well and when. Best of all we gave him a fairly short list of the kinds of songs we would like to hear and he picked up on our style and absolutely nailed the brief. We couldn’t believe how many of our guests (of all ages!) were getting out on the dance floor. We aren’t big dancers or party goers but the dance floor went off and we have had a lot of positive comments from guests about how much fun they had. We got married on Valentine’s Day this year and could not have chosen a better DJ and MC for our wedding day.
