We could not recommend DJ Chris enough. He was exactly what we wanted from a music taste perspective for our wedding which kept the dance floor busy the whole night! He really knew how to read the room well and was so lovely and professional. He was also thorough and meticulous as he identified an error on our behalf with a song link we provided him, which saved an awkward entrance for the bride and groom. Many of our guests praised the excellent DJ throughout the night and after. We are so happy with how our reception turned out thanks to DJ Chris!

We couldn’t be happier with Dan as our DJ and MC for our wedding last month. From the initial planning meetings to the big day, Dan was great to work with—professional, attentive, and truly invested in making our celebration memorable. The process was straight-forward and simple and communication was always prompt. Amazing from start to finish.We arranged for the incredible Singer Jay to serenade us down the isle, Jays acoustic performances through the early evening were brilliant, guests were in awe of her talents! Jay played some classic tunes which we loved.We had the pleasure of Dan not only being our DJ but MC.Dan is such a professional!! He ensured our entire day ran with ease proving helpful advice to guests throughout the night making sure we ran on time and taking away any pressures of running late.We loved Dans other little touches, games – getting the crowd involved and keeping the upbeat energy in the room with his classic mix of tunes that we and the guests loved.For all pre wedding planning We were able to organize and meet with Dan via Zoom with ease, he helped us walk through our ideas and plans to the wedding and put it into order. RUN, DON’T WALK TO BOOk THESE GUYS IN.!!!We had DJ Dan and Max on Sax for our wedding on 02/11/2024.Dan was incredible, from our first interaction he was very laid back and professional and made us feel at ease. Dan MCd our reception and pivoted when there was a change in schedule, he helped everything runs so smoothly.There was not one miss on the music, we got so many compliments from our guests, he read the room perfectly!! Max on Sax added the perfect layer of fun as well! I would not hesitate to hire them again, they made our day so memorable and perfect!

11/10 – From the moment we engaged Dan we knew we were in safe hands. He was organised and professional and this shone through on the night where he met with the other vendors and ensured that the running of the night went extrodinarily smoothly. Then once the formalities were concluded, he showed his real talents as the DJ – boy oh boy did it go off! Our friends and family raved about it and its fair to say there’ll be some ongoing business from our circle for him going further. Dan is a superb DJ and entertainer! He was great to work with, communicative, and really had a keen sense of what our style and vibe was – we had our wedding 5 months ago, and we STILL have so many guests rave about how amazing Dan was! We are so grateful for the fantastic atmosphere he provided, the amazing music, and how accommodating he was when we had a last minute change of plan for end of the night activities 🙂 We also booked the Party Pix Photobooth through Dan and Magenta was so so lovely operating the photobooth, keeping the vibes up, and helping us to print multiples of each photostrip! Guests also recieved digital copies, and so do we have digital copies of all the fun everyone had with it! We could not recommend Dan and Magenta more!

Spinning disc entertainment DJ’s are the best! Our wedding had a party vibe all night. I request what genre of music not to play & we requested disco/ 80’s , 90’s & today hits & our DJ Karl hit the brief to a tea. Karl also accepted song requests, there was so many requests and Karl was more than happy to play them! He was a great MC. We liaised with DJ Dan for the lead up to the wedding, he was so helpful, replying to my many emails straight away with all the questions that I had. He helped beyond more than a DJ. He helped map out a timeline for the day & made my husband and I feel at ease and so comfortable. Would highly recommend Spinning Disc Entertainment, Dan is the best!

Dan sent me a lot of information and met me and my fiancé to give us an overview of how it all works. 3 weeks before the wedding we met Dan and DJ Karl to go through the entertainment run sheet. We booked Dan for our wedding night and we can’t thank him enough !!! He was extremely professional and awesome ! He always made himself available every time we had a query and always set up meetings that were needed without us having to reach out first. My husband and I hired spinning disc entertainment for our wedding to perform as DJ and MC. Karl was assigned to our wedding and he was amazing. He kept the party going, had our guests dancing for a long time and played our requests. His song selections were a great mix as well ranging from dance/house/pop/rnb which was for everyone. He was also an excellent mc and made it very easy for my husband and I and our bridal party to enter without any nerves. He also made sure everything was on time with cake cutting, speeches etc. Dan was also great to deal with leading up to the wedding with meetings and planning and made sure we felt at ease. I would highly recommend spinning disc entertainment for any mc/dj needs for events!

DJ Dan and Max on Sax performed at my husband and I’s wedding back in June, and it was such a bloody brilliant decision! From the very beginning, Dan offered such a high standard of professionalism asking all of the right questions and offering recommendations and song suggestions. I’d perused Spinning Disc’s Instagram so knew they came highly recommended, but the entire night when above and beyond all of my dreams for the night, which was for it to be memorable, special, but most of all, a party with songs that connected with all of our guests. Dan worked so well with our friend and MC for the night Ryan who hadn’t been an MC before, but Dan was super helpful in terms of giving him guidance and collaborating with him on the night. The whole night was complete perfection, and I wish we could do it all again. I still have guests raving about Dan and Max. Highlight of the night, was entering into our reception for the first time as husband and wife to ‘On a Night Like This’ by Kylie Minogue….epic. I think in particular as well what made our night so unique was the inclusion of Max on Sax. Volume was up, vibes were up, people were ALL up ALL night. Cannot recommend Spinning Disc and specifically Dan and Max enough.

Dan provided a really helpful outline of what our night might look like, how to choose songs and was able to incorporate a photobooth in our booking (Fi was equally amazing!). We had Dan as our DJ and MC for our wedding last week and we can’t recommend him highly enough. In the first meeting with Dan where we had a bit of a get to know you chat, he made us feel comfortable straight away and was super helpful with suggestions and making all of the planning seem a little less daunting. On the night, Dan played to the crowd and people were up on the dance floor all night, dancing until our feet hurt and screaming songs until we lost our voices. He was a fantastic MC and had our guests pumped and laughing. There are no words that would justify how fantastic Dan and his team are. As a bride and Groom we were extremely nervous about planning a unique wedding that we loved and that our guests had a great time at. Dan from our very first meeting made me believe this could happen and it did!!! Not only was Dan a great DJ but he stepped in for us as our MC and our guests could not stop raving about him. We also booked a sax player and the boys especially loved him. Dan had our guests eating out of the palm of his hand. DJ Dan and his team were the best decision we made. I would use this company for any event I organize. Professional, accommodating and so much fun. Dan made sure everything ran on time and according to schedule, but it never felt like a schedule. We gave him a rough idea on what we wanted for music and let him do his thing and it was perfect. We only had two meeting ms over zoom, which was so easy, but the result you would have thought came from hours discussing things. They just know exactly what they are doing. Our wedding would not have been half as good if I didn’t have them. If you are in two minds or you have other options, don’t go any further than Spinning Disc entertainment. You will not regret it.

We went through all the running sheet with us, and he offered suggestions for wedding games/activities that everyone on the night loved! We hired Spinning Disc for our wedding and everything was just incredible!We were lucky enough to have DJ Karl be our DJ & MC and he was genuinely the best and we could not have been happier! He knew exactly how to get people up onto the dance floor and made the whole night an absolute blast. As an MC as well he was fantastic and kept the whole night on track. It’s very easy to lose track of what’s happening and the timings of everything when it’s your wedding but Karl was so so good at making sure everything ran according to plan!! In our pre-meetings we had, we explained what we wanted the vibe to be, song requests and he definitely knew exactly what to do with the info we gave him. Karl knows his audience and is able to take what we wanted and put on an incredible night with it!Dealing with Spinning Disc from the beginning was so good and makes planning a wedding so much easier! Amongst the stress of wedding planning, we fondly remember our first meeting with DJ Dan being the first time we felt confident that our wedding would be a blast – and a blast it was. DJ Dan provided music (and the vibes) from pre-ceremony to our final goodbye circle, and was the best MC we could have asked for. DJ Dan and Acoustic Artist Jay Santilli provided the entertainment for our wedding, DJ Dan providing MC and DJ services and Jay Santilli providing the ceremony music and playing during canapés.Jay did an incredible job setting the tone for the ceremony and easing into the evening with her sweet serenades. She is an absolute professional and knows what she’s doing. I was so stressed that my aisle song was too short and I was going to be walking down the aisle to no music, but Jay was able to play the intro until I was ready to walk down, she did an incredible job and made the entire ceremony perfect, and created an incredible ambience for the ceremony and canapés.DJ Dan was incredibly professional and helpful throughout the whole process. He was able to meet with us multiple times over Zoom in the lead up to the day, and provide us with suggestions and tips along the way, like games we could play to interact with our guests (that everyone was raving about the next day), and how to break up the speeches to make the reception go smoothly. Dan was able to perfectly mix the songs and include all our favourites, expertly increasing the vibes and the energy throughout the night, so our dance floor was entirely filled from the minute it opened til the minute it closed. Dan was able to ad lib jokes and keep our guests entertained whilst also simultaneously keeping things on track for time. Definitely worth the money to pay a professional to MC your wedding. Dan was also able to problem solve and think on his feet, I really felt like I could rely on him to make the reception run smoothly and ensure all our guests had a good time, and as a stressed out bride I will be forever grateful for his patience, kindness and efficiency throughout the whole process. Dan was absolutely spectacular in every way from our first meeting. One of the things that stood out for us was he was very quick to respond to any emails and especially the week leading up to the wedding, having someone respond to any of our queries or small changes made us feel at ease. Dan also has a friendly and funny personality which made him the perfect fit for being our MC. He made sure everything was running on time and even asked us on the night if we wanted to delay the first dance as we were busy chatting away to our friends and family. As for the DJ side of things he played all the songs we wanted and even played the Collingwood theme song when they won the prelim finals. He has a good gauge on what songs everyone was liking on the night and kept the dance floor alive. Even having party lights on the dance floor and checking in on us throughout the night was such a thoughtful touch. We both were so grateful in our choice for choosing Dan and couldn’t recommend him enough for your special day.

Highly professional yet easy going. We engaged Dan to be our emcee and DJ and it was a great decision. Meetings are easy to set up via online booking—no going back and forth in an email to set a date and time. During the meeting, Dan will guide you along the way and he solved a lot of our headaches by giving us his advices based on his years of experience. We find that we don’t have to stress and find a solution ourselves, we just have to answer yes/no to his suggested solutions, which is such a relief in the midst of planning a wedding. We find our meetings with him are short and sweet, yet highly productive. As for the night itself, he gave us and our guests lots of laughter, eased the atmosphere and we had our guests telling us how great he is. He also goes above and beyond in his services and I would strongly recommend him if you are down to have a fun vibe in your wedding!

Planning a wedding or a function Dan and his team has you covered for music and entertainment. I spoke to a few different entertainment companies before coming across Spinning Disc Entertainment and from the first discussion with Dan over the phone it was clear that we are in very capable hands. Dan sets up and initial skype meeting and from there he asks you a few questions about the kind of atmosphere you want at your function and then also put forward some suggestions of things we did not even consider. Dan takes in consideration what you want and not what he feels a wedding should be like which I loved. He takes on your vision and puts it in reality. After your first meeting, once you feel comfortable you pay your deposit. There is a further couple of quick skype meetings before your event (all booked online by yourself in his calendar) so you can select a date and time that suits you. We wanted an informal wedding with a bit of MC but a roaring dance floor, which is what we got! Everything ran on time and DJ David came out before our entrance to the venue for a quick meet and from there everything flowed very nicely for the duration of the night. We also wanted the photo booth for 5 hours which was a massive hit with out guest. Magenta looked after the photo booth for us and she also made sure she came to introduce herself to me quickly as the night started which was super lovely. The team have the ability to read the room to know when convenient time is to have these quick introductions, which I also appreciated and noted. Noting felt invasive of the night. Something to also keep in mind is the response times, with Dan when we had a question outside of our scheduled meeting times was fantastic in his response times. You did not feel like just a number but it felt like your wedding/function mattered which was very re-assuring.A BIG thank you Dan, DJ David and Magenta!

DJ Dan was extremely easy to work with and also the most organised of any of our wedding suppliers/vendors.He guided us through the whole process and used his experience to help us plan how the wedding would run music wise and also timeline wise. However, was also very understanding and accommodating to all of our personal requests.He did a great job of using a small list of MUST PLAY songs to pick up what our own personal music vibe was and every song he played we were extremely happy with.He made suggestions for our wedding on things we had not even thought of, like playing an ice breaker game at the start which was a huge success!He also worked seamlessly with our MC who was one of the our close friends to keep the night running perfectly.Extremely easy to communicate with and always got back to us very promptly by email, phone and video call.

One of the best wedding vendors we engaged for our wedding. Dan and his team are true professionals in the field that provide an amazing all-round entertainment package and service. They are highly organised and responsive people which made our experience so much smoother and easier! We had DJ Andy and acoustic duo Sarah and Taylor at our wedding and they created an incredibly enjoyable atmosphere and night overall. Loved that they played the songs we requested, and that they also knew to play other songs that they knew we would love – and we sure did 🙂

Dan was the DJ for our Wedding in October last year along with Sophia and Jesse who performed live acoustic music. We couldn’t fault any of them and were very pleases with their entertainment, our guests spent most of the night on the dance floor.Dan had excellent communication, met up with us in advance and helped guide us on our run sheet/timings of the night (we had no idea what we were doing).Dan also helped a couple of our guests perform a song for us with his set up.Thanks Dan, Sophia & Jesse, you really made our night special and one we will never forget

Dan was fantastic from the very first moment we contacted him to DJ and MC our wedding. We had a number of meetings to plan the day/night to what suited us.On the day Dan kept the dance floor pumping all night. My new wife who is Brazilian had a number of request for Brazilian songs which he provided.The feedback from everyone was great and all people loved the night

We experienced the pleasure of having DJ Dan MC and DJ our wedding this past weekend. 21st of Jan, 2023.I cannot recommend Dan or this company higher. He was approachable and supportive in the preparation beforehand and no request was too much. He worked with us as a couple to find a happy medium in between the very different music tastes of myself and my now husband; whilst still keeping the interests of the guests in mind.The music was sensational – Dan connected with the crown and provided the atmosphere that created the entire feeling of the wedding. He referred to people by name and was humorous and lovely for the entire evening.If ur getting married or having any function at all, you need to have Dan run it for you! We went through Spinning Disc Entertainment for our wedding Jan 2023 and could not be happier with Dan and his team! From the very first meeting Dan put our minds at ease, he knew exactly what he was doing and had great suggestions on how to make sure our day ran smoothly. Dan set us up with DJ Andy for the wedding day and he was brilliant! The vibe was spot on all day and night, taking requests and just being an all around great presence on the day. Everything ran perfectly all thanks to Dan & Andy! Highly recommend, top blokes!
