LOVE Letters
Scotty has a set of illuminated LOVE letters available as an add-on for $250 inc GST. The letters stand one metre tall with full colour LED lighting, and are battery powered with no cables required. They look best positioned in front of the wedding party table or the DJ booth, and work well as a photo backdrop throughout the evening.
Uplighting
Scotty offers wireless LED uplighting as an add-on to any DJ booking. Up to 10 battery-powered lights are placed around the perimeter of your venue, colour matched to your wedding palette for dinner and switched to a dynamic dancefloor mode when the night kicks off. There are no cables across the floor. Dan is a superb DJ and entertainer! He was great to work with, communicative, and really had a keen sense of what our style and vibe was – we had our wedding 5 months ago, and we STILL have so many guests rave about how amazing Dan was! We are so grateful for the fantastic atmosphere he provided, the amazing music, and how accommodating he was when we had a last minute change of plan for end of the night activities 🙂 We also booked the Party Pix Photobooth through Dan and Magenta was so so lovely operating the photobooth, keeping the vibes up, and helping us to print multiples of each photostrip! From the start Dan was helpful and patient with guiding us through what needed to be done, how to do it, and when to do it (turns out there’s more to booking a DJ than just paying them haha). We were able to schedule calls in our own time, and he helped us plan our day, including song suggestions for various elements of the night. He worked with our MCs to coordinate when to play songs and to gauge the crowd, and he made sure to play what we liked (and avoided songs we asked him not to play).We also booked Velvet Soul, an acoustic pianist and singer, who received raving reviews from our guests when she performed during canapé hour. Dan was our touch point to help coordinate her services and songs, so it was nice and easy on our end.All in all we had a great experience with Dan and Velvet Soul and would recommend to anyone contemplating a DJ and/or acoustic singer!

Dan and his team truly made our wedding songs special! We had Dan as our DJ and an amazing acoustic duo for our cocktail hour. In the lead up to the wedding we had a meeting with Dan to understand what we wanted from the music for the day and he nailed it!The duo for cocktail hour set the mood perfectly!Then Dan for the dance floor. Dan was absolutely amazing, he made sure that all the music during the ceromony played smoothly and the communication between all of our vendors ensured the night was perfect. The photobooth was a huge hit on the night and the tape edit was the perfect touch. Everyone the next day said that it was a fun wedding and that the songs played were all “vibing”. Dan was absolutely amazing for our wedding. We had him for DJ and MC and we couldn’t be more happier. Communication was great with an online meeting beforehand as well as being responsive to emails. Highly recommend Dj Dan! He was amazing to work with, from our first consult to the end of our wedding. He really listened to our needs and ideas and was able to keep the dance floor going all night! Can’t speak highly enough of Dan and Karl (who DJed and MCed our big day) and made it the most amazing day of our lives. From the start Dan gave us advice, listened to our comments, had some great feedback and looked after us through the whole process.On the day, Karl was an absolute star and handled everything to perfection! Dan was fantastic to work with! From the very beginning, he was not only super friendly and professional but also guided us through the planning process before the wedding and executed everything perfectly from ceremony to reception; even when some formalities had to be moved a little earlier/later than scheduled! We knew we’d have unconventional song choices but he took all our requests in stride and killed it on the decks with some amazing mixing on the night. He was also very thoughtful and showed his experience when recommending that the dance floor be relocated on the day, to make sure that everyone had a great time. We got so many compliments from guests (of which a few happily grabbed his details) and we’d highly recommend his services. Being able to book the photobooth all in one was a great bonus as well! DJ Dan was amazing! Dan was friendly, organised and professional during every interaction and my partner and I knew our wedding entertainment was in good hands! We loved the way he incorporated Greek, Italian and Macedonian cultural music into the evening playlist and we received so many compliments from our guests on how much they enjoyed it. Dj Dan really IS your man!!From the moment we met Dan at the start of our wedding planning process we knew we had picked the right man for the job!Dan professionally guided us through creating the perfect timeline for our night ensuring we had every song sorted for all those special moments. He went out of his way to ensure we could incorporate a mix of Italian favourites while still pumping out the bangers we all know and love and getting that dance floor to its fullest capacity!Dan was also our MC for the night and we couldn’t have asked for a better MC!! He had everyone laughing all night with his quick wit and expert humour! If you’re going for a relaxed, fun and party til you drop wedding reception this guy will make your night that much better!And sometimes not everything goes to plan on your wedding day much like ours. The venue was ridiculously late/ slow with feeding our guests which caused us and our guests a fair bit of stress however Dan played a MASSIVE part in saving our night!! If it wasn’t for Dan keeping the vibes high, interacting and engaging with our guests through the scavenger hunt game and keeping the belly laughs rolling in our night would have been different! Super easy to communicate with prior and was especially great at rolling with the punches on the day with all the “surprises” from family members messing up our timeline! He listened to everything we wanted, and was able to run with that and make the night a huge success. Thank you DJ Dan! Our wedding night was everything we were hoping it would be. Our DJ, Merrill, worked really well with our MC and created such a great vibe. We had an older crowd so the dance floor wasn’t full but he kept the great tunes coming. My husband isn’t a dancer and he was up with me for most of the night! We had Dan DJ and MC at our wedding in Feb, and could not recommend him more! During our zoom calls he made a super clear schedule for our day and helped us figure out exactly what music we wanted! On the day he brought the energy as MC and kept us all dancing all night! We had DJ Dan MC & DJ our wedding, and he was amazing, super easy to talk to and deal with in the meeting and planning process, he even bought a few things to our attention that we hadn’t even thought about for the wedding.We had a decent variety of music we gave to Dan, from club dance & EDM to RnB, Trance, Pop Punk and more. He did an amazing job at bringing it all together and we barely left the dance floor, along with our guests.He was great as an MC, adding humour and energy to the dance floor and was incredibly helpful with keeping us in time with our formalities.Couldn’t recommend him any higher if I tried, do yourself a favour and book him in.

Pwoahh! What a night and spinning disc delivered! We had DJ Dan and he was so good. We had guests raving on about the music and it was all delivered so professionally. I requested some Latino music which was perfectly blended in with other more popular songs. The whole process was seamless with initial interview to get a feel for what we were looking for to feeling out the crowd on the night to make sure everyone had a good time. If you’re on the fence about getting a dj vs a Spotify playlist, go with spinning disc! They mix in the best part of a song so it’s a constant high and the music transitions are just on point.

We could not recommend DJ Chris enough. He was exactly what we wanted from a music taste perspective for our wedding which kept the dance floor busy the whole night! Amazing from start to finish.We arranged for the incredible Singer Jay to serenade us down the isle, Jays acoustic performances through the early evening were brilliant, guests were in awe of her talents! Jay played some classic tunes which we loved.We had the pleasure of Dan not only being our DJ but MC.Dan is such a professional!! He ensured our entire day ran with ease proving helpful advice to guests throughout the night making sure we ran on time and taking away any pressures of running late.We loved Dans other little touches, games – getting the crowd involved and keeping the upbeat energy in the room with his classic mix of tunes that we and the guests loved.For all pre wedding planning We were able to organize and meet with Dan via Zoom with ease, he helped us walk through our ideas and plans to the wedding and put it into order. I request what genre of music not to play & we requested disco/ 80’s , 90’s & today hits & our DJ Karl hit the brief to a tea. Karl also accepted song requests, there was so many requests and Karl was more than happy to play them! He was a great MC. My husband and I hired spinning disc entertainment for our wedding to perform as DJ and MC. Karl was assigned to our wedding and he was amazing. He kept the party going, had our guests dancing for a long time and played our requests. His song selections were a great mix as well ranging from dance/house/pop/rnb which was for everyone. He was also an excellent mc and made it very easy for my husband and I and our bridal party to enter without any nerves. We used Dan’s DJ services on our wedding night, he played everything that we requested and had great mixes of our favourite genres of music and was very professional and made the night truely memorable. Even capturing some footage of our family and friends enjoying ourselves on the dance floor. Highly recommend using him for your next special event! 😎

Dan was amazing for our wedding. We told him our tastes as was part of his process and he nailed the song choices and timing especially. Got everyone dancing at the right times. Can’t recommend him enough

Spinning Disc Entertainment helped us create the perfect merge of 2 totally different songs for our first dance. DJ Dan and Max on Sax performed at my husband and I’s wedding back in June, and it was such a bloody brilliant decision! From the very beginning, Dan offered such a high standard of professionalism asking all of the right questions and offering recommendations and song suggestions. I’d perused Spinning Disc’s Instagram so knew they came highly recommended, but the entire night when above and beyond all of my dreams for the night, which was for it to be memorable, special, but most of all, a party with songs that connected with all of our guests. Dan worked so well with our friend and MC for the night Ryan who hadn’t been an MC before, but Dan was super helpful in terms of giving him guidance and collaborating with him on the night. The whole night was complete perfection, and I wish we could do it all again. I still have guests raving about Dan and Max. Highlight of the night, was entering into our reception for the first time as husband and wife to ‘On a Night Like This’ by Kylie Minogue….epic. I think in particular as well what made our night so unique was the inclusion of Max on Sax. Volume was up, vibes were up, people were ALL up ALL night. Cannot recommend Spinning Disc and specifically Dan and Max enough.

We could not rate Spinning Disc more highly! Dan was a brilliant MC and DJ and was so easy to work with. Dan provided a really helpful outline of what our night might look like, how to choose songs and was able to incorporate a photobooth in our booking (Fi was equally amazing!). Dan ticked off the various Turkish songs we requested and got everyone on the dancefloor. Our guests were very impressed as were we. Thank you for helping us have an incredible night 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

We had Dan as our DJ and MC for our wedding last week and we can’t recommend him highly enough. In the first meeting with Dan where we had a bit of a get to know you chat, he made us feel comfortable straight away and was super helpful with suggestions and making all of the planning seem a little less daunting. On the night, Dan played to the crowd and people were up on the dance floor all night, dancing until our feet hurt and screaming songs until we lost our voices. He was a fantastic MC and had our guests pumped and laughing. He helped keep all our formalities running on time and everything went smoothly – Dan made it so easy for us to just relax and enjoy the night.

Absolutely impressed by the services provided by Spinning Disc Entertainment. Met with DJ Dan a few times prior to the date and he was patient, flexible and well organized. Being so experienced, he helped us structure our evening and had some great ideas and suggestions we ended up incorporating into our day.We hired Dan as our DJ as well as an acoustic duo and a roaming sax. They came with a beautiful setlist, and even learned some songs upon request. Everyone was incredibly talented, professional and created a wonderful atmosphere. We received so many compliments from all of our guests. Can’t wait for our footage to come back so we can relive the night with Spinning Disc Ent!

There are no words that would justify how fantastic Dan and his team are. As a bride and Groom we were extremely nervous about planning a unique wedding that we loved and that our guests had a great time at. Dan from our very first meeting made me believe this could happen and it did!!! Not only was Dan a great DJ but he stepped in for us as our MC and our guests could not stop raving about him. We also booked a sax player and the boys especially loved him. Dan had our guests eating out of the palm of his hand. DJ Dan and his team were the best decision we made. I would use this company for any event I organize. Professional, accommodating and so much fun. Dan made sure everything ran on time and according to schedule, but it never felt like a schedule. We gave him a rough idea on what we wanted for music and let him do his thing and it was perfect. We only had two meeting ms over zoom, which was so easy, but the result you would have thought came from hours discussing things. They just know exactly what they are doing. Our wedding would not have been half as good if I didn’t have them. If you are in two minds or you have other options, don’t go any further than Spinning Disc entertainment. You will not regret it.

Karl was amazing for our wedding! He was on point the entire day/night and had everyone dancing from the beginning. Dan was amazing to deal with leading up to the big day and gave amazing advice we will continue to cherish. Thankyou guys so much for making our day so special.
