We could not recommend DJ Chris enough. He was exactly what we wanted from a music taste perspective for our wedding which kept the dance floor busy the whole night! He really knew how to read the room well and was so lovely and professional. He was also thorough and meticulous as he identified an error on our behalf with a song link we provided him, which saved an awkward entrance for the bride and groom. Many of our guests praised the excellent DJ throughout the night and after. We are so happy with how our reception turned out thanks to DJ Chris!

From the initial planning meetings to the big day, Dan was great to work with—professional, attentive, and truly invested in making our celebration memorable. Amazing from start to finish.We arranged for the incredible Singer Jay to serenade us down the isle, Jays acoustic performances through the early evening were brilliant, guests were in awe of her talents! Jay played some classic tunes which we loved.We had the pleasure of Dan not only being our DJ but MC.Dan is such a professional!! He ensured our entire day ran with ease proving helpful advice to guests throughout the night making sure we ran on time and taking away any pressures of running late.We loved Dans other little touches, games – getting the crowd involved and keeping the upbeat energy in the room with his classic mix of tunes that we and the guests loved.For all pre wedding planning We were able to organize and meet with Dan via Zoom with ease, he helped us walk through our ideas and plans to the wedding and put it into order. He provided his expert advice on things we were not sure of.Dan helped guide song selections and was able to create a amazing playlist that we and our guests loved, it had them all up dancing!!I HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone having a special event, the ability to have both the MC, photobooth and variety of music both acoustic and DJ under one space helped us immensely it took away the pressure of having multiple vendors from different companies to co ordinate.Thanks Dan, Jay and the team!! you guys rock!

RUN, DON’T WALK TO BOOk THESE GUYS IN.!!!We had DJ Dan and Max on Sax for our wedding on 02/11/2024.Dan was incredible, from our first interaction he was very laid back and professional and made us feel at ease. Dan MCd our reception and pivoted when there was a change in schedule, he helped everything runs so smoothly.There was not one miss on the music, we got so many compliments from our guests, he read the room perfectly!! Max on Sax added the perfect layer of fun as well! I would not hesitate to hire them again, they made our day so memorable and perfect!

11/10 – From the moment we engaged Dan we knew we were in safe hands. He was organised and professional and this shone through on the night where he met with the other vendors and ensured that the running of the night went extrodinarily smoothly. Then once the formalities were concluded, he showed his real talents as the DJ – boy oh boy did it go off! Our friends and family raved about it and its fair to say there’ll be some ongoing business from our circle for him going further. Dan is a superb DJ and entertainer! He was great to work with, communicative, and really had a keen sense of what our style and vibe was – we had our wedding 5 months ago, and we STILL have so many guests rave about how amazing Dan was! We are so grateful for the fantastic atmosphere he provided, the amazing music, and how accommodating he was when we had a last minute change of plan for end of the night activities 🙂 We also booked the Party Pix Photobooth through Dan and Magenta was so so lovely operating the photobooth, keeping the vibes up, and helping us to print multiples of each photostrip! Spinning disc entertainment DJ’s are the best! Our wedding had a party vibe all night. I request what genre of music not to play & we requested disco/ 80’s , 90’s & today hits & our DJ Karl hit the brief to a tea. Karl also accepted song requests, there was so many requests and Karl was more than happy to play them! He was a great MC. We liaised with DJ Dan for the lead up to the wedding, he was so helpful, replying to my many emails straight away with all the questions that I had. He helped beyond more than a DJ. He helped map out a timeline for the day & made my husband and I feel at ease and so comfortable. Would highly recommend Spinning Disc Entertainment, Dan is the best!

We booked Dan for our wedding night and we can’t thank him enough !!! He was extremely professional and awesome ! He always made himself available every time we had a query and always set up meetings that were needed without us having to reach out first. My husband and I hired spinning disc entertainment for our wedding to perform as DJ and MC. Karl was assigned to our wedding and he was amazing. He kept the party going, had our guests dancing for a long time and played our requests. His song selections were a great mix as well ranging from dance/house/pop/rnb which was for everyone. He was also an excellent mc and made it very easy for my husband and I and our bridal party to enter without any nerves. He also made sure everything was on time with cake cutting, speeches etc. Dan was also great to deal with leading up to the wedding with meetings and planning and made sure we felt at ease. I would highly recommend spinning disc entertainment for any mc/dj needs for events!

DJ Dan and Max on Sax performed at my husband and I’s wedding back in June, and it was such a bloody brilliant decision! From the very beginning, Dan offered such a high standard of professionalism asking all of the right questions and offering recommendations and song suggestions. I’d perused Spinning Disc’s Instagram so knew they came highly recommended, but the entire night when above and beyond all of my dreams for the night, which was for it to be memorable, special, but most of all, a party with songs that connected with all of our guests. Dan worked so well with our friend and MC for the night Ryan who hadn’t been an MC before, but Dan was super helpful in terms of giving him guidance and collaborating with him on the night. The whole night was complete perfection, and I wish we could do it all again. I still have guests raving about Dan and Max. Highlight of the night, was entering into our reception for the first time as husband and wife to ‘On a Night Like This’ by Kylie Minogue….epic. I think in particular as well what made our night so unique was the inclusion of Max on Sax. Volume was up, vibes were up, people were ALL up ALL night. Cannot recommend Spinning Disc and specifically Dan and Max enough.

We had Dan as our DJ and MC for our wedding last week and we can’t recommend him highly enough. In the first meeting with Dan where we had a bit of a get to know you chat, he made us feel comfortable straight away and was super helpful with suggestions and making all of the planning seem a little less daunting. On the night, Dan played to the crowd and people were up on the dance floor all night, dancing until our feet hurt and screaming songs until we lost our voices. He was a fantastic MC and had our guests pumped and laughing. Being so experienced, he helped us structure our evening and had some great ideas and suggestions we ended up incorporating into our day.We hired Dan as our DJ as well as an acoustic duo and a roaming sax. There are no words that would justify how fantastic Dan and his team are. As a bride and Groom we were extremely nervous about planning a unique wedding that we loved and that our guests had a great time at. Dan from our very first meeting made me believe this could happen and it did!!! Not only was Dan a great DJ but he stepped in for us as our MC and our guests could not stop raving about him. We also booked a sax player and the boys especially loved him. Dan had our guests eating out of the palm of his hand. DJ Dan and his team were the best decision we made. I would use this company for any event I organize. Professional, accommodating and so much fun. Dan made sure everything ran on time and according to schedule, but it never felt like a schedule. We gave him a rough idea on what we wanted for music and let him do his thing and it was perfect. We only had two meeting ms over zoom, which was so easy, but the result you would have thought came from hours discussing things. They just know exactly what they are doing. She is an absolute professional and knows what she’s doing. I was so stressed that my aisle song was too short and I was going to be walking down the aisle to no music, but Jay was able to play the intro until I was ready to walk down, she did an incredible job and made the entire ceremony perfect, and created an incredible ambience for the ceremony and canapés.DJ Dan was incredibly professional and helpful throughout the whole process. He was able to meet with us multiple times over Zoom in the lead up to the day, and provide us with suggestions and tips along the way, like games we could play to interact with our guests (that everyone was raving about the next day), and how to break up the speeches to make the reception go smoothly. Dan was able to perfectly mix the songs and include all our favourites, expertly increasing the vibes and the energy throughout the night, so our dance floor was entirely filled from the minute it opened til the minute it closed. Dan was able to ad lib jokes and keep our guests entertained whilst also simultaneously keeping things on track for time. Definitely worth the money to pay a professional to MC your wedding. Dan was also able to problem solve and think on his feet, I really felt like I could rely on him to make the reception run smoothly and ensure all our guests had a good time, and as a stressed out bride I will be forever grateful for his patience, kindness and efficiency throughout the whole process. Dan was absolutely spectacular in every way from our first meeting. One of the things that stood out for us was he was very quick to respond to any emails and especially the week leading up to the wedding, having someone respond to any of our queries or small changes made us feel at ease. He made sure everything was running on time and even asked us on the night if we wanted to delay the first dance as we were busy chatting away to our friends and family. As for the DJ side of things he played all the songs we wanted and even played the Collingwood theme song when they won the prelim finals. He has a good gauge on what songs everyone was liking on the night and kept the dance floor alive. Even having party lights on the dance floor and checking in on us throughout the night was such a thoughtful touch. Highly professional yet easy going. We engaged Dan to be our emcee and DJ and it was a great decision. Meetings are easy to set up via online booking—no going back and forth in an email to set a date and time. During the meeting, Dan will guide you along the way and he solved a lot of our headaches by giving us his advices based on his years of experience. We find that we don’t have to stress and find a solution ourselves, we just have to answer yes/no to his suggested solutions, which is such a relief in the midst of planning a wedding. We find our meetings with him are short and sweet, yet highly productive. As for the night itself, he gave us and our guests lots of laughter, eased the atmosphere and we had our guests telling us how great he is. Incredible! Did an amazing job for our wedding day and in the lead up. We had the pleasure of DJ Dan facilitating our wedding reception and wow was it a memorable night. Prior to the event, Dan was very communicative, professional and courteous. He made all the woes and stress for the pre-wedding arrangements so simple – he responded and replied to my emails in quick fashion and his own suggestions for the big day really helped us piece it all together.In addition, he was fantastic in coordinating the run-sheet and agenda of the night with the external MC and everything just went so smoothly. As far as music goes, I was recommended DJ Dan through a mutual friend and Dan was so accommodating to our music preferences – the seamless mixing and transitions between our favourite tracks was on point and everyone was enjoying and dancing on the floor. He adjusted to exactly how the audience was feeling and partying and I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. Planning a wedding or a function Dan and his team has you covered for music and entertainment. I spoke to a few different entertainment companies before coming across Spinning Disc Entertainment and from the first discussion with Dan over the phone it was clear that we are in very capable hands. Dan sets up and initial skype meeting and from there he asks you a few questions about the kind of atmosphere you want at your function and then also put forward some suggestions of things we did not even consider. Dan takes in consideration what you want and not what he feels a wedding should be like which I loved. He takes on your vision and puts it in reality. After your first meeting, once you feel comfortable you pay your deposit. There is a further couple of quick skype meetings before your event (all booked online by yourself in his calendar) so you can select a date and time that suits you. We wanted an informal wedding with a bit of MC but a roaring dance floor, which is what we got! Everything ran on time and DJ David came out before our entrance to the venue for a quick meet and from there everything flowed very nicely for the duration of the night. We also wanted the photo booth for 5 hours which was a massive hit with out guest. Magenta looked after the photo booth for us and she also made sure she came to introduce herself to me quickly as the night started which was super lovely. The team have the ability to read the room to know when convenient time is to have these quick introductions, which I also appreciated and noted. Noting felt invasive of the night. Something to also keep in mind is the response times, with Dan when we had a question outside of our scheduled meeting times was fantastic in his response times. You did not feel like just a number but it felt like your wedding/function mattered which was very re-assuring.A BIG thank you Dan, DJ David and Magenta!

My wife and I recently booked Dan for our reception and he made our special day absolutely perfect. Dan met with us a couple of times to make sure that our (very specific) music tastes were met on the night. Given the broad diversity of our tastes this was no mean feat! Dan made everything perfectly simple and took on board all of our feedback.Dan followed our brief down to a tee on the night, blending the night’s music between our requests, our’s and our guest’s tastes, and feeling out the vibe of the room. But also included some of his own creativity in there (which was much appreciated). DJ Dan was extremely easy to work with and also the most organised of any of our wedding suppliers/vendors.He guided us through the whole process and used his experience to help us plan how the wedding would run music wise and also timeline wise. However, was also very understanding and accommodating to all of our personal requests.He did a great job of using a small list of MUST PLAY songs to pick up what our own personal music vibe was and every song he played we were extremely happy with.He made suggestions for our wedding on things we had not even thought of, like playing an ice breaker game at the start which was a huge success!He also worked seamlessly with our MC who was one of the our close friends to keep the night running perfectly.Extremely easy to communicate with and always got back to us very promptly by email, phone and video call.

Dan was the DJ for our Wedding in October last year along with Sophia and Jesse who performed live acoustic music.
