Our Process: From Planning to Partying
We make planning your wedding entertainment simple and enjoyable. Here’s what to expect as we work together on the soundtrack for your wedding:
🗓️ Meeting 1: Kickoff Planning Session
💻 Best done around the time you book (Book your meeting here!).
🎶 We’ll cover:
- The overall vibe and style of your wedding.
- Music preferences, including any must-plays or do-not-plays.
- Venue setup details, like the dance floor and sound system.
📋 You’ll also receive: - A checklist of what we’ll need from you, including formality songs, timing for key events, and other key details.
- An entertainment runsheet/timeline tailored to your plans, created during the meeting.
🗓️ Meeting 2: Finalising the Details
🎶 Held closer to your wedding date, this meeting is all about perfecting the plan:
- Confirm your timeline, special song choices, and any last-minute requests.
- Discuss the flow of the evening to ensure a seamless experience.
- Double-check any logistical details, like set-up times and equipment needs.
🎶 Ceremony Entertainment
Whether you opt for live acoustic performances or a DJ, we’ll set the right tone for your ceremony and pre-reception.
- 🎤 Acoustic or DJ options tailored to your preferences.
- 🔋 Powered or battery-powered setups for locations with or without electricity.
- 🎶 30 minutes of background music as guests arrive.
- 🎵 Ceremonial songs to accompany key moments like walking down the aisle, signing the registry, and the recessional.
- 🎶 Background music for canapés/cocktail hour while you’re off capturing those beautiful photos.
- 📦 Equipment pack-down and move to the reception area, ready for the reception.
📌 Important Note: Your celebrant will need to bring their own handheld microphone and sound setup, as our equipment is dedicated to the music for your ceremony.
🎧 Reception Entertainment
Your reception is where the night comes to life:
- 🎤 Microphone: A wireless microphone for speeches, toasts, and your MC. Need 2 or more mics? Ask us!
- 🎶 Acoustic or DJ options: Starting with dinner background music to set the mood, and later building up to an energetic dance floor.
- 🛠️ Equipment setup: All equipment will be set up and ready to go before guests arrive.
- 📦 Pack-up: After the reception concludes, we’ll discreetly pack everything up.
- 💃 Lighting: Dynamic lighting to enhance the dance floor atmosphere.
